Unlike other areas of Sullivan County, where access is primarily via Route 17, Barryville has a number of access options from New York City. In addition to Route 17 to Monticello (and then traveling southwest), you can also take I-84 west to Port Jervis and then NY 97 north along the Delaware River, or come up through New Jersey and Milford, PA directly into Barryville.

Several studies have shown that when you buy from an independent, locally-owned business, rather than a nationally-owned businesses, significantly more of your money is used to make purchases from other local businesses, service providers, and farms -- continuing to strengthen the economic base of the community.
Locally owned businesses can make more local purchases requiring less transportation, and generally set up shop in town or city centers as opposed to developing on the fringe. This generally means contributing less to sprawl, congestion, habitat loss, and pollution.
Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes
We support the community by employing over 20 local students and community members. We invested in the business because as residents of the town for 15 years, we grew to love the people who live in the town. Our vision when we purchased the store was to bring community events and family activities to the area. We donate our entire property in the back of the building to host a non-profit farmers market every Saturday to serve the community.
Pet Friendly Notes
Bring Fido! We have outdoor seating where you can bring your pet to sit down and have breakfast or lunch.
