Minisink Valley Historical Society (MVHS) organized in 1889. We house a collection of early documents, photographs and genealogies relating to the Minisink Valley Area. The area we cover encompasses parts of Orange County, New York, Sussex County, New Jersey and Pike County, Pennsylvania.

Archive remains closed during COVID access restrictions at the Port Jervis Library. The society's archives would be normally open on Thursday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm or by appointment during regular library hours. We are located on the second floor of the Port Jervis Free Library.
