Since 1859, Frederick Duckloe & Bros. has been manufacturing traditional American furniture in eastern Pennsylvania. They are best known for their handmade Windsor chairs, tables and occasional pieces.

Siblings Frederick B. Duckloe and Barbara Duckloe Townsend are the fourth generation Duckloe family members, set to carry on a proud tradition of making high quality furniture from the finest native Pennsylvania hardwoods. Their approach, along with that of the 25 skilled craftsman who work with them, employs methods of furniture making that have remained unchanged since the company’s inception.

Duckloes is most widely known for their historically accurate reproductions of Windsor chairs. Their furniture is among the collections of many historic and significant spaces. Some of these places include, Independence Hall in Philadelphia, The National Museum of American History/Smithsonian in Washington D.C. and The Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities in Boston, among other well-known and exclusive establishments throughout the Northeast.

The factory is open for tours year-round, Monday - Friday, during regular business hours. Their store consists 10,000 feet of showroom space containing, in addition to the Duckloe pieces, various lines of high end and mid range furniture lines, lighting and home accessories.
