Four Sisters Winery is a boutique winery owned by Robert J. (Matty) Matarazzo, a third generation farmer. The vineyard was established in 1981 and the doors opened in 1984. Named after his four daughters, the winery provided for the girl's education all completing double masters and the oldest completing her Doctorate at Harvard University. The winery continues its mission now providing an educational trust fund for the grandchildren.

With over 20 wines to choose from, the winery has a variety of red, white, rose, fruit, spiced, fortified and sparkling wines. The winery is open for complimentary wine tasting daily and wine cellar tours on the weekend.

Four Sisters Winery is host to many festivals and events, private parties, weddings and special celebrations and sits on a 250-acre farm with eight acres of vineyards and seven acres of apple orchards. Three wines are made from the apples; Sadie's Apples, Captain's Choice and Spicy Sisters.

The winery has won over 125 local, state, national and international awards and has been recognized for its many events and festivals bringing guests from around the world to visit.

Accessibility Notes

Matty Matarazzo is a life long resident of New Jersey, third generation farmer, has sat on the local planning board as chairman for over 20 years, 4 years on the New Jersey State Advisory Committee

As Matty's father once said, "We are the caretakers of the land." Matty prides himself as a third generation farmer, in keeping New Jersey green! Four Sisters Winery offers educational tours of the farm, vineyards and wine cellar, operates solely on solar energy, works with integrated pest management techniques which practices and enhances fruit & vegetable production in New Jersey, Four Sisters Winery also works with Rutgers Extension with field scouting, pest monitoring and grant-funded research.
