D&H Canal Park at Lock 51 - Cuddebackville, NY
The D&H Canal Park in Cuddebackville, New York is a National Historic Landmark which features scenic trails along the D&H Canal towpath, picnicking areas and historic canal sites. It is a 249-acre park that includes a one mile section of the Delaware and Hudson Canal. The park also contains the massive remnants of the Roebling Neversink River aqueduct abutments. It is also home to the Neversink Valley Museum, which features classic canal era exhibits and memorabilia.
The D&H Canal Visitors Center is available for group meeting use by advance permit only. Call (845) 615-3830 for permit information. Hours limited to no later than 10:00pm. Occupancy is limited to 48.
The D&H Canal Picnic Shelter is located near the Park Visitor Center just a short walk from the parking area. It is ideal for small groups or family outings and is also near the Neversink Valley Museum. Shelter occupancy is limited to 120. Electricity is available at this location and the floor is paved.

To reach the park:
Take Route 17 to Exit 113. Proceed south on Route 209. The park and museum entrance is located on Hoag Road to the right of Route 209 before the bridge over the Neversink River.
Take Route 211 west to Route 209 and make a left turn at the blinking light. The park and museum entrance is located on Hoag Road to the right of Route 209 before the bridge over the Neversink River.
