Delaware River Outfitters - Shawnee, PA
Based out of Shawnee Pennsylvania, Delaware River Outfiters specializes in fishing and exploring the Delaware River via shallow draft jet boat in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. This stretch of water, also known as the Middle Delaware, is unique to its upper and lower counterparts.
For nearly 40 miles the protected shorelines are as they have been for generations, uninhabited and untamed. Our trips have amazing scenery, abundant wildlife, world class fishing opportunities, and can be tailored to meet your needs.
Smithfield boat launch has handicap accessible features.
Areas of Service and Expertise
Because of the unique hull and prop-free propulsion, we can run in extremely shallow water and reach areas of the river few others can. Fishing and exploring will be done on the main stretch of the Middle Delaware River, from the Delaware Water Gap north.
All trips depart from Smithfield Beach (River Road) or Bushkill Boat Launch (route 209) unless otherwise noted. Both river access points have parking fees charged by the DWGNRA at time of entrance ($7.00 per vehicle on a weekday, $10.00 per vehicle on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday).
